Everyone is certainly aware of the takedown by amazing 'journalist' Brett Baier. The brave slayer of the master of the Republican Party with his cutting and epic interview …..
And anyone who wants to believe that this wasn’t actually a tactical hit by the steering committee behind the Republican organization to conspire against American democracy has been once again hoodwinked by the forces that run whatever it is you want to call the organization that represents roughly half of our body politic.
I'm not saying it wasn't somewhat enjoyable to watch but I'm saying that if you look beneath the surface it was done for a very clear reason and the reason isn't necessarily our friend.
It’s frustrating at times the lack of connecting the plain and simple dots and the lack of calling a spade a spade so I am going to do that.
Nothing on Fox News is done out of connection with the governance of the Republican Party. Fox News is the absolute propaganda arm of R party and it has been for the past 20 years.
In the case of Fox it's critical to understand and remember that no talking head on Fox is an independent voice. They are employees of Fox News. Their content is supervised. No one speaks their own mind. Their broadcasts contain zero surprises for management. Brett Baier is just mouthpiece, a face on the screen. His words are the words of the organization Fox News and the words of the Organization Fox News are the words of the Republican Organization. Full stop.
My mother is a Fox Cultist. I have unfortunately watched more Fox News than the vast majority of people here because my mom won’t turn it off and I have spent months of time taking care of various duties at her home for the past 15 years.
100% of what they say is in lockstep with the party directives.
It is a conspiracy — meaning that there is absolutely no 4th estate barrier. It was shown wide open with Trump’s calls both on the air and off the air with Fox News hosts. Donald Trump and Sean Hannity admitted that they had in depth late night calls while he was President.
But that may be the most innocent given that they at least admitted it.
The fact of the matter is that Fox and The Repulican organization are built upon falsehoods. Not truth-bending, not wiggle-words and not hard to discover or easy to confuse topics.
Barrack Obama is not only not a Muslim but the concept that he is even possibly a secret Muslim is absurd. Regardless of the fact that there is no reason it wouldn’t be absolutely acceptable if he were a Muslim it is beyond any shred of acceptable “reporting” to further such a concept. The same with Birtherism itself. An absolutely unacceptable piece of “reporting” which he went so far as to placate the ridiculous claim by providing his actual birth certificate and it does not matter. The non-whispered “whisper” campaign maintains to date. Fox News watchers believe Barack Obama is a Kenyan born Muslim and that is the message of the Republican party.
Message Disciplne with the content being simple to disprove lies.
- The Mueller report was not a hoax. Trump’s and his team were clearly connected to Russia and the report exposed it an countless and extremly serious and clear ways including the actual jailing of Trump’s actual campaign manager Paul Manafort who had more ties to Putin through his primary client Victor Yanukovytch than could fill a book.
- COVID Vaccines are and were safe, effective and the best and only way to deal with COVID.
- Anthony Fauci is not in any way a villain.
- Donald Trump was absolutey responsible for an absolute failure of COVID policy.
- Climate Change is man made, it has been proven and is backed by 99% of scientists worldwide.
- Bringing a snowball into the studio during a blizzard in no way disproves climate change theory and never has. Weather is not climate and in fact Climate theory has since it’s beginnings discussed all around weather disruptions.
- The impeachments of Donald Trump were both 100% valid, were both clear and serious charges and were both backed up with impeccable evidence.
- January 6th was a violent insurrection incited by Donald Trump.
These are just a smattering I could go on forever.
The Republican Party is a conspiracy and Fox News is at the core of the operation and it is beyond question that they work together to promote absolute manufactured falshehoods.
noun,plural con·spir·a·cies.
the act of conspiring.
an unlawful, harmful, or evil plan formulated in secret by two or more persons;plot.
When witnessing or conveying information in sincerity and mainly honest discussion, Two, three, four. five, 1000 people will have different variations on what happened and they don’t have to be lying and/or conspiring. A story that actually took place can be told many ways and you wouldn’t need to claim that the tellers had conspired.
Fictions like those peddled by Fox and the Repulican Organization are an entirely different species. They are lies. They are crafted and the tellers are required to tell them as they have been shaped by the conspiracy.
I ask you to think about the lies from the Republican Party. I ask you to imagine if you separated all of the players from each other. If somehow you could do an experiment where one of these topics was required to be researched and discussed but they needed to do it without contacting the others in their circle. What would be the result?
The result would be that no such lockstep fictions would exist. When you don’t know the fiction that is being created, you won’t create the same fiction as the other teller.
Imagine you put Sean Hannity in a room and Tucker Carlson in another and they weren’t allowed to talk with each other and they weren’t allowed to talk with the Republican leadership. Do you think they would all come up with an attack on Anthony Fauci? Do you think they would come up with medical masks being somehow not a good way to block the spread of a disease? Do you think they would come up with the FBI being somehow infiltrated by liberals trying to destroy America?
The answer is - maybe one or the other might come up with any one of these but - they wouldn't come up matching stories because the stories aren't real. Sure, they could each come up with some gems, some garbage, some set of bogus lies but it wouldn't be in unison.
And it is in unison and that can literally only mean one thing. That they organize and orchestrate the messaging in the absence of truth with the goal and outcome being undemocratic and 'illegal' in the deepest sense of the word.
So the point at the end of this - Brett Baier isn't some hero. He isn't some bold individualist. He isn't a guy who somewhere, somehow found his deep roots in journalistic integrity.
Nothing broadcast on Fox News is done so without the absolute lockstep clearance of the steering committee of the Republican Party - whoever that is. Rupert Murdoch and his propaganda machine have been that for years and Fox and assumably him still are.
Baier's piece was one thing and one thing only. It was the opening of the door for the GOP to throw out the trash and it was planned.
I want to clarify that I am not claiming they will be able to throw out the Trump trash in time but that this was more than just a signal they are ready to try, it was a salvo in what I believe will be an increase in course correction activity because they know what I am about to say which is that:
Donald Trump can't win. Period. He's a broken brand and he's a liability.
I want you to ponder on that and here is my contention and has been for months if not a year or maybe even a little more.
There is absolutely no way he can win. He lost before he had half of this baggage. The number of independents, women and 'x' percent of plain old disgusted Republican voters makes a guaranteed loser.
The indictment was the final straw. The answer as to what a winner looks like isn't clear at all, but it's crystal clear what a loser looks like.
Brett Baier is nothing but a hitman. He was given a job. He did a great show with it. The material has been clear as a bell for years. He should have been eviscreated over Mueller, over the Ukraine situation, over the sexual assaults and all of the rest of the criming and the Republican machine, Fox News and Brett Baier knew it all along but it was more oportune to keep the trash in house.
Anyhow, that's what you saw last night and I for one am not clapping. That decision was theirs and because of the fact that Trump was without question the best oponent Joe Biden could have had, I'm not excited about it.
The deepest forces in the Republican party acted last night in what is the first dose of a late stage radical treatment of their disease. Just like a patient with an extremely serious illness there are no guarantees.
But it was an attempt to start the treatment.
